Wisdom from Regular People

I subscribe to and enjoy, Fast Company magazine. They also have a great website with all past editions available. I get a different little quote everyday from them called "Fast Company's First Impressions." So can you. The quote links right to the article that it came from. Here are a few quotes that have resonated with me in the past:

"Don't try to become some kind of 'presidential' persona. People want you to be yourself."
Brian Ascher, Product Manager, Inuit

"There is no 'they' here. It's 'we' and 'us.'"
Al Spain, SVP of Operations, JetBlue Airways
"If you want to figure our your path in life, you can't have an end date on the exploration."
John Wood, Founder, Room to Read

"For us, a year's worth of change occurs every quarter."
Steven G. Papermaster, Founder and CEO, BSG Corporation

"Success is about maintaining the vision even through the most grueling details."
Paul Newby, Design Team Leader, TiVo Inc.

"We can't afford to wait for decisions to come down from the top."
David Murphy, VP, Ford Motor Co.
Aliveness came with learning, growing, stretching, exploring."
Richard Leider, Author, "The Power of Purpose"

"You need to have people go a little nuts about what you want to do."
Bill Thomas, Founder, Eden Alternative

(At second glance at these, maybe they are not such "regular" people.)

Check out Fast Company.
