True confession. As a little girl (of like 4 or 5!!) I was as in love with Glen Campbell as a 4 or 5 year old little girl could be. I would sit right in front of the television to watch him sing just to me. I called him my "Blen Campbell." Imagine my sadness when I saw that famous mug shot of Glen a couple of years ago when he was busted for DWI. My mom had some fun with that photo! I also love Michelle Shocked. I didn't know they sang together. Good pick.

Nan, Glen Campbell must have been one of those people who fit many peoples' fantasies. I could have sworn he was gay until he stole Tanya Tucker from her cradle.

This pits me in the mood for some more Jimmy Webb....MacArthur's Park, perhaps?
