My lover just texted me: I quote (mostly) "... family just came & emptied entire huge bowl of candy! Mom told kid to shut up and open his bag. Kid said u making me act greedy. Oy."
Lovely Blue Eyes had put the bowl out on the porch and trusted the better angels of our common humanity. Take a little for yourselves kids and don't forget about the other trick-or-treaters out there. We've done it in the past and it has always worked well.
I told her that if I was there I would have chased her down and given her a good lesson on manners and common courtesy.
What a sad example to her children.

Hey. Things were looking pretty grim. The economy was a bust - it all went from chocolate to sucky sour balls. The kid needed a bailout.
Just think of it as a Halloween stimulus package.
