Post-Post Superbowl

1) Pass protection on both sides was outstanding. Allowed the QBs the time to do what they do best. I think there was only one sack all game. The unheralded offensive lines were as good as it gets. In all the chatter I have not heard them mentioned. Hats Off.

2) The officials let the men play the game. None were flag happy. No bad calls. It could have been the level of play between two great teams. More likely it was officiating that knew its role in the Big Show. Hats Off.

3) Balls. The going for it on 4th and goal. The second-half opening onside kick. The challenge of the two-point conversion call. This man Sean Payton is a master and a mensch. Hats Off.

4) It would be so great to be at That Saints-honoring New Orleans parade. I'd be lifting up my shirt, no doubt.
