On The Road With NPR

The 2013 Fiat 500 Abarth Cabrio

1)   I had a 7 hour road trip last Thursday and heard a few things that I wanted to share:

"there are 100 billion galaxies in the observable universe, approximately, you know, plus or minus a large factor."

If that doesn't make one seem semi-insignificant, nothing will.

"Galaxy" Wiki'd

2)   "Even if immigrants continue grappling with those wrenching decisions, the Pew report projects that the foreign born will continue to drive U.S. population growth in coming decades. The vast majority of births, the researchers predict, will be to immigrants who've arrived just since 2005 and their descendants."

Our children and theirs will live in an extremely different USA than we did.  I suppose that is somewhat true of every generation, but this has me thinking it will be extremely extremely different.

Found here.

3)  “You know what I love about the Abarth Cabrio? It is a car that arouses without the need for prescription,” Francois said as an image of a hand holding a “little blue pill” before introducing the Fiat 500e.

“The blue pill element here is not only does it deliver great performance, it also lasts longer,” Francois said after the 500e drove onto the stage. “Now, who doesn’t want performance and stamina?"

Sexy metaphor isn't it?

Francois is Chrysler's / Fiat's Chief Marketing Officer.
